FEBRUARY 2023

4th Sundays, 10:05 a.m. (in-person, Fellowship Room)

At the January Discussion, we agreed that the topics of conflict and truth, while intricately intertwined, were too complex to discuss in one session. We concentrated on conflict at the January meeting, leaving the topic of Truth for February. As a result, we will be exploring several aspects of truth in our daily lives.

The reading comes from a 2016 blog by Ben Wood. He explores several aspects of truth, belief and language. For him, much of our truth as Quakers is based on our shared story and the positive outcomes that result from our enacting our beliefs in real life.

We look forward to discussing how we know that our personal truths about events in our lives are indeed, true. In addition, we may also explore how the integrity testimony guides as we share our truth with others.

All are welcome, even if you have not had time to read the reading. Come and join in the companionship of folks exploring their faith with one another.
